Jute Growing Zones in India | Agronomy
On the basis of agroclimate, jute growing tracts of India are broadly grouped into eight zones. 1. Lower Bengal-Ganga Riverine Tract: Important jute growing districts are Hooghly, 24 Paraganas, Nadia and Murshidabad. This is mainly olitorius tract. 2.
